Burgesses, a mortgage payment protection insurance specialist has relaunched and redesigned its website. It is underwritten at Lloyd’s and is fully compliant with the Council of Mortgage Lenders and Association of British Insurers baseline standards. Policies are available to new and exiting mortgage borrower. There is no initial exclusion period for new mortgage borrowers and only 90 days in respect of unemployment for existing borrowers, whose cover will be restricted to free disability benefits during the first 90 days of the policy.
