Burgesses unveils free cover for new policyholders
INSURANCE TIMES - 9TH APRIL 2002
Specialist underwriting agency Burgesses is offering new policyholders three months free unemployment cover.
The suretyfirst offer provides cover of £250 per month with benefits paid for six months.
Burgesses chief Simon Burgess stresses there are no catches and no obligations with policyholders given the option to continue or enhance cover to enable benefits to be paid for a full 12 months.
Suretyfirst is fully compliant with ABI guidelines and policyholders can purchase 75 per cent of gross earnings – up to £2,500 a month – with ‘back to day one’ cover and benefits paid for 12 months.
Cover costs £4 per £100 of monthly benefit – to protect £500 per month with the first benefit cheque payable on Day 31 would cost £20 per month.
Suretyfirst is also available to Burgesses’ agents who register their clients.
They will receive an ongoing commission of 20 per cent on all upgraded cases with no clawback.
