Burgesses income payment protection insurance

The latest plan from the prolific Burgesses is a short term accident, sickness and unemployment product that pays up to £1,000 a month (max 50% of income) for up to a year.
Cover is underwritten by NIG, the plan offers back to day one cover, and clienst can choose unemployment, disability or unemployment and disability cover. The rate is £3.50 a month or £5.50 a month for the combined cover.
Applicants must be UK resident, aged 18 – 64, and actively working more than 20 hours a week. Existing accident, sickness and unemployment hokders may qualify for exclusion free transfer (120 day waiting period).
Comment: Another variant on the accident, sickness and unemployment theme from Burgesses. Rates look to very competitive and the plan offers simplicity rather than innovation.
