Borrowers can save £2500 with broker

Burgesses, the general insurance claimed the average borrower can save £2500 over the lifetime of their mortgage (£100 a year) if they switch mortgage payment protection insurance away from their lender to a broker. The research compared the top 10 UK lender with the top 10 brokers. For lender the average monthly premium on a £75,000 mortgage was £6.04 for brokers it was £4.29.
