1. The Financial Services Authority (FSA)
The FSA is the statutory body that regulates financial services. Its rules require us to give you this document. We suggest you use this information to decide if our services are right for you.
2. What range of products do we offer?
We offer Payment Protection Insurance from Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC through their administrator First Assist Insurance Services Limited.
3. What service will we provide you with?
We do not offer advice. We do provide you with access to the Policy Summary and the Policy Wording both of which we suggest you read. We also provide an on line application service. We provide a quick quote system and then a standard quote which is subject to acceptance by insurers. Once you have gone through the online application process you will need to come to your own decision about purchasing the cover.
Please note that cover is subject to acceptance by insurers of your application. If you are using this cover to replace and existing policy then please do check that your application has been accepted before cancelling your previous cover.
Within the application process there is also a declaration page which includes an eligibility section and there is an eligibility section on the web site. We strongly suggest you read both sections.

4. What will you have to pay us for this service?
No fee is payable.
5. Who are we regulated by?
We are authorised and regulated by the FSA under registration number: 302674.
Our permitted business is insurance mediation activities in relation to non-investment insurance products.

6. What to do if you have a complaint

Once your complaint is received we will review and investigate your comments and concerns. We will write to acknowledge your complaint and advise you who is handling the matter. Once our investigation is complete we will write to you again with our full response.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
7. Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
We are covered by the FSCS. Accordingly, if we are unable to meet our obligations, you may be entitled to compensation.

8. Duty of disclosure
Please be aware that the information provided by you forms the basis of a legal contract between you and your insurer. You have an ongoing duty to disclose all circumstances which may lead to a claim. It is therefore essential that all information provided is true, accurate and complete. Any omission, misrepresentation or failure to disclose an important change of circumstance could invalidate your insurance cover and could mean that a claim may not be paid.
9. Data protection
Any information we hold about you in the insurance application form will be passed to the insurer and or their administrator in the normal course of arranging your insurance cover. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you have rights of access to any personal information we hold about you.
