The growing need for payment cover
- 26TH JULY 2007
There is a growing need for payment cover. It is a fact that more people are in debt than ever before in the UK, and debts are higher than they have ever been too. There are some individuals that dread the monthly bills hitting the doormat because of the stress involved with trying to find the money for repayments on their credit and store cards.
However, what would happen if an individual could not work and yet still had the bills to pay? Without payment cover, he or she would almost certainly get into arrears and may even be declared bankrupt.
Payment cover is technically optional, but an individual who is in debt would do well to think about cover. Everybody assumes that they will always have money to make monthly repayments, but some unlucky individuals will always find themselves proved wrong. Illness, accident or unemployment makes it hard enough to live, let alone pay debts back but payment cover could actually eliminate the latter worry for a period of twelve to twenty-four months.
The truth is that everybody in debt has a very real need for payment cover, but it is up to the individual whether he or she acts upon the need. There are many that do not who would benefit from payment cover. It does not need to cost the Earth either.
Independent payment protection provider British Insurance offers payment cover that takes care of all debts and is in no way linked to an individual credit card or loan, which is what makes them stand out from high street banks and lenders. The payment cover is available for up to 80% less than said banks and lenders would offer and it can most definitely give borrowers the peace of mind that they are looking for.
