Cheap unemployment insurance doesn’t mean poor quality

- 3RD AUGUST 2007

We all like to make savings on whatever it is that we are buying. However many of us are sometimes misled into thinking that ‘cheap’ means ‘poor quality’. When taking unemployment insurance into account this theory couldn’t be more wrong. There are specialist providers who offer cheap unemployment insurance - it’s simply a case of knowing where to buy.

The difference in quotes for unemployment cover varies widely and the high street bans and lenders are one of the dearest and also because they don’t have the expertise when it comes to selling a policy, often sell inferior products when compared to a standalone provider such as the ethical British Insurance.

British Insurance is just one of select few payment protection specialists who offer quality cheap unemployment insurance. An online specialist can always offer the cheapest cover but the provider should be able to back it up with experience in the sector along with offering essential facts regarding the product.

Simon Burgess from British Insurance speaks openly about the high street lenders and the way they monopolise the sector. He than they need to be, while offering inferior products. It’s disgraceful”.

This is one of the reasons why Simon started British Insurance, to ensure that someone is there to give the consumer the advice they should rightly be given when buying a policy while not “ripping them off” as he succinctly puts it.

Simon warns that the product isn’t suitable for everyone but if it is suitable for you then it can provide a fixed monthly income, typcially for up to 12 months if you should find yourself unable to work through accident, sickness or unemployment.

Simon summarises: “Cheap unemployment insurance is something that anyone with financial commitments should consider.”
